They live in Wisconsin and are in Arizona for work quite a few times a year. They really wanted a desert engagement session since their wedding is at a resort and won’t show the beauty of the desert. Glen used to be a photographer so he picked out these two awesome locations!! The original night of their engagement session, we got rained out, but the second night had the most amazing lighting!! We were able to get our photos done before the storm fully came in, it was perfect!
They wanted both an urban and park engagement session. So they decided to take photos at Tempe Town Lake and get a little mix of both.
They really wanted a Horseshoe Bend engagement session, but also wanted to have their cars in a few photos. So we started in Phoenix with pictures with their cars and then drove up to Page for golden hour photos at Horseshoe Bend! Since we were all staying the night, we decided to have dinner together. I loved getting to know them even more, we felt like old friends at dinner! Kelsi is also a photographer, she mostly does real estate work and some fine artwork.
We started out at a park and then headed to the desert as the sun was setting. They really wanted to have a desert engagement session since they are both originally from the Cave Creek area. I had a great time getting to know them and can’t wait for their wedding next April!
They decided on a desert engagement session since they love everything about the desert. So we decided on a trail near where Sara grew up because she also loves the big boulders that can be found in the northern part of the city. They brought their lab puppy with them for a few of the photos. For only being a year old, she did really good! I love it when people bring their furry kids with them to photo shoots!
I love everything about this fashion and edgy engagement session!! I love their outfit choices and was quite happy to find that they like the more edgy type photos! Sedona was the perfect place for their engagement photos and their outfits looked even more amazing in the environment. They were going to get in the water for me, but unfortunately, the creek was running a bit too fast. I had an awesome time getting to know them and can’t wait for their wedding in January!!
They live down in Safford, but really wanted their engagement session in Sedona. Because of that though, they could only do their photos midday so they would have time to drive back home. The lighting is not usually the best midday, but we were still able to find some great spots for their lifestyle engagement session photos!
The chose their engagement session location for both the buildings and the old tractors! I had a great time getting to know them and can’t wait for their wedding January!
Linsey and Stephanie live in Gilbert and thought an urban engagement session in downtown Gilbert would be the perfect spot! When we were done there, we headed over to Tempe town lake for a few sunset pictures! We had such a great time getting to know each other! That by the end of the session, I felt like I had known them for years! I’m looking forward to their wedding in October!
Rebecca and Michael wanted to include their two Rottweilers in some of the photos, so an outdoor engagement session was the best! They also have an adorable baby girl they wanted to include in a few as well. She was asleep when they first arrived, which was perfect for us to be able to get their photos done first. Then once we were done, they went ahead and woke her up to add her into a few photos at the end. I had a great time getting to know them and their beautiful family and can’t wait for their wedding!!
