Carousel Ranch in Santa Clarita offers amazing equine therapy for special needs children and young adults. Here are a few photos from a recent session.
Since their little guy is under a year, we decided to do more of a lifestyle portrait session. He lasted for quite a long time, much better than we thought he would. 🙂 I love when I get to see my previous wedding clients again and photograph their growing family!
I’ve been photographing these guys since their engagement session and have loved watching their family grow! Since they have 2 young kiddos, we usually end up taking lifestyle family portraits instead of the more traditional type. It keeps the kiddos attention a little longer, not much though. 🙂
They combined two back to back mini sessions so that they could take their outdoor family portraits both together and separately. I can’t believe Isla is already walking! She’s just under a year old and it doesn’t feel like it was that long ago that we were taking her newborn portraits.
I love watching families grow! This lifestyle portrait session was for baby Savannah’s first birthday! This time we decided to do them in downtown Pasadena, an amazingly gorgeous area!
They went all out for Zian’s one year birthday party!! The cake was amazing and the kids loved the balloon artist and face painter!
We started with a couple of family pictures and then let Zian have fun with his cake smash!! It took him a few minutes to really dig in, but once he took a taste he was all for it!!
Every family session they do, we try to do a different look. The one thing we haven’t done yet is a desert family session. I think the desert can make an amazing backdrop in the right light!
I love winter in Phoenix, it makes this outdoor portrait session look like it was in the fall. 🙂 We started out with the traditional portraits, then had lots of fun with the rest of the photos. The fun ones are always my favorite, they really show everyone’s different personality.
