They had a small family reunion planned around an 80th birthday at the Flying E Ranch. Since it’s a western themed venue in the desert, they decided to bring them both together a little and do some western and desert themed family portraits.

I’ve been photographing these guys since their engagement session and have loved watching their family grow! Since they have 2 young kiddos, we usually end up taking lifestyle family portraits instead of the more traditional type. It keeps the kiddos attention a little longer, not much though. 🙂
They got married at Sahuaro Ranch Park and we also did their first maternity session there as well. This time they had a family maternity session there. We do a few recreations of certain photos each time and then go on from there. I love that everyone was involved in the maternity session, it makes it so much fun!
She bought a few props for her fall themed portraits in her backyard. Her dog posed for me to test my lights to begin with. 🙂 She has a gorgeous backyard and it made a perfect spot for so many different portraits.
They decided on a country portrait session since they wanted to use their old truck in the photos. What better place to take photos than in front of a cotton field with the Superstitions in the background!
Trilogy at Vistancia’s Kiva Club wanted some new outdoor headshots for their website and marketing materials. They really wanted the light and airy look for these photos, so we waited until a little later in the day to take them.
They combined two back to back mini sessions so that they could take their outdoor family portraits both together and separately. I can’t believe Isla is already walking! She’s just under a year old and it doesn’t feel like it was that long ago that we were taking her newborn portraits.
This year they wanted to have Christmas themed portraits. So we had some fun playing around a little with some lights and a wreath!
I love watching families grow! This lifestyle portrait session was for baby Savannah’s first birthday! This time we decided to do them in downtown Pasadena, an amazingly gorgeous area!
Wells Fargo Insurance division needed some new headshots for their office. Not everyone could do it on one day, so we had to split it into two different days, but everyone was excited for their new headshot!
