Melanie and Laine wanted to add an open air photo booth to your wedding reception. Since they had some skeleton keys as decoration at their wedding, we added a couple to the photo booth strip for them.
Melanie and Laine had an amazingly romantic wedding with lots of emotions throughout the day, lots of laughing, a little crying and tons of love!! They got married at the amazing Aldea at Tlaquepaque!! The gorgeous flowers were by Petals and Lucy! Tony from Infinity Entertainment kept the party rocking all night and I love how he had them all throw hats in the air at the end of the reception! During the reception, they had Tony call up a few of their guests and have them dress up and do dances in front of everyone! Their guests were awesome about it and everyone had a great time! Once the reception was over, we went outside and took a few night shots around the venue.
There is an awesome bridge in the middle of the desert and it’s actually located in a gorgeous area with a body of water and desert scenery! I’ve always wanted to take pictures there. So when Erika asked if we could shoot there, I was all for it!! The only downside is that it was loaded down with mosquitos. Check out this awesome desert maternity session below!
They wanted a more natural look, so we decided to do an outdoor engagement session at Gilbert Riparian Preserve! I had a great time getting to know them and can’t wait for their wedding!!
Baby Mayla was not cooperating and wanted to stay awake for the photos. So we decided to make it more like lifestyle newborn photos instead of the typical posed photos. I love the photos of the whole family on the couch, such fun and emotional moments. She fell asleep for a brief few minutes for a quick few posed photos at the end. 🙂
I’ve known Edward for quite some time, so when he asked me to come take some business headshots and a few office photos, I was excited for it!! Jannae and Kevin wanted a combination of an urban and beach engagement session. So we started at Balboa Park and then headed over to Scripps Pier to finish it off. On our way to the pier, the marine layer was coming in and very thick. So, unfortunately, we didn’t get a sunset, but the lighting still made some amazing photos! At the end of the session, they decided to walk under some water that was pouring down from the pier. What an awesome way to end the session!!
Nikki and Jarell had an amazing elegant wedding at The Ashley Castle! Their two boys were both a part of the wedding and did great through it all. I met them a couple of years ago when they need family portraits and was so happy to be a part of their wedding as well! I loved seeing the different expressions of Jarell’s face as he watched Nikki walked down the aisle, he went through multiple emotions in a short amount of time.
Tricia is from Oceanside and Stefan is from Austria. They met in college and hit it off right away! Since Stefan’s family still lives in Austria, they decided to have a small intimate outdoor wedding at the La Jolla Woman’s Club!! The weather was amazing and was awesome for the outdoor ceremony and dinner. They only went inside to dance and a few events. The outside area where they ate was absolutely gorgeous and relaxing!
I had the honor of working on a photo shoot for San Diego Style Weddings Magazine!! I was able to work with a stellar team of vendors and had an amazing time checking out this fabulous venue!! This is a very modern venue filled with fun colors, walls and furniture and would make an awesome place for a wedding!
