They decided to have family portrait session since they just recently had a baby girl! We took the photos in their front yard and a little park area across the street, made it nice and easy for them. 🙂  I love when I get to be a part of my wedding clients lives after they have kiddos!

I photographed Nicole and Nick’s 5th wedding anniversary party. So when it came time for their vow renewal on their 10th anniversary, I was excited and honored that they called me! The love between these two is amazing! There were tears in their eyes while she walked down the aisle and the romantic first dance was awesome! They wanted their ceremony outside, but the rain started right when the ceremony was about to begin. So we quickly moved all of the chairs inside instead. Dionne from Dionne Event Productions kept it all flowing smoothly even through the rain! Thankfully the Jewish Historical Society has the option of an indoor ceremony!

Brett is a hiker and Keristi is not, but she still really wanted a Superstition Mountain engagement session! She was raised in Mesa and has always loved the look of the mountains around sunset time! We got there a little early for the light, but just chatted until it was the optimum lighting time for that that golden type look on the mountains!

Veronica and Brandon had an amazing desert wedding in Mesa and Apache Junction! On our way between the ceremony at Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the reception at The Paseo we stopped on a road and waited in between cars to get a few photos of the Superstition Mountains behind them on what looked like a deserted road. Those are some of my favorites photos from the wedding! Graceful Cake Creations did an amazing job on the cake and groom’s cake. Veronica surprised Brandon with a Marine groom’s cake. Right after we got to the reception site, it started down pouring so we decided to start the reception early and did a few more pictures during dinner once the storm cleared a little. We were lucky enough to get a small sunset even with the storm clouds! Lauren from Mint Hair Studio did an amazing job on Veronica’s hair, I loved the vintage style! Veronica actually did all of the flowers herself and they turned out amazing! Push Play Entertainment kept the party rocking all night, they even added on an extra hour!!

This Lake Oswego wedding had lots of family and friends a part of it! Shannon had all of her nephews carry a puzzle piece with a message on it down the aisle and one got to be the ring security! The rain was off and on all day, but it cleared for the ceremony and a double rainbow came out shortly after. I love that they were willing to go outside in the rain and take some night photos with me! I think they are some of the best photos from the day!! The Foundry at Oswego Pointe is an amazing venue to get married out, there are lots of awesome places to take pictures all within walking distance!

They have a large backyard with some cool elements, so they decided to have their wedding in their backyard. It’s not very often a backyard wedding has such cool areas to take pictures and a big enough area for tables and a dance floor! Their adorably cute bulldog was their ring bearer and they had a bagpiper playing before the ceremony and while Erica walked down the aisle! Since they are both in the landscape field and have a farm looking area in their backyard, we decided to do the old farmer and wife photo. 🙂 Erica plays the piano and Tom used to play the drums in school, so the band let them get up and play a song with them. I thought that was pretty awesome! Fred’s Flowers did an amazing job on the flowers! They had a small cake from Sugarlips Cakery and some donuts from Bosa Donuts for dessert!
