Erica and Rob used their fun spring color on their photo strip in their open air photo booth. Everyone had an awesome time in the booth. There weren’t a lot of people at their wedding, but the Photo Booth was busy all night long!
Erica and Rob had an awesome Spring Wedding at San Marcos Crowne Plaza!! I loved the light spring type colors of the flowers and their converse shoes! Sue Jacobs Cakes made a gorgeous cake for their reception! They wanted a simple wedding where friends and family could come together and celebrate with them and that is exactly how the day went, lots of fun!
Kelly is from Hawaii, so they decided to have a Hawaiian themed elopement at the gorgeous Japanese Friendship Garden!! He even tie dyed their shirts so they make a circle together. 🙂 At the end, they did a Laverne & Shirley jump!!
They met in Rocky Point on one of David’s many trips there. David only spoke English and Irma only spoke Spanish. They both loved dancing which is what brought them together. In the beginning, they would type what they wanted to say on an iPad and have it translate for them until they could both learn a new language. Several years later they decided to have an elegant outdoor wedding at The Secret Garden. They only went inside to dance. They had their final dance while everyone was getting lined up for the sparkler exit, I love this idea! It gives you a peaceful moment at the end of the night to take in the moment!
Jennifer and Matthew had a gorgeous small, intimate wedding at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch! Instead of a DJ, they had Al Ortiz playing guitar during the reception. They didn’t have a lot of events that needed to be announced, so it was great having the subtle music playing in the background and during their first dances! They are both in the ballet and their first dance looked choreographed because of that. Small, intimate weddings are some of my favorite weddings!
Alyssa is from Vista originally and moved to New Jersey for school where she met John. So they decided to have the wedding at Optimist Club of Vista. Their favors were little bottles of tequila and Jameson whiskey, one bottle from each of their heritages. They wanted their wedding to be one big party and 17st Studios did an awesome job keeping the party going and the dance floor full! John is 7 feet tall, so it is actually a joke for people to get together and pick him up. It was fun watching them try and some attempt to do it!
They chose two places to give them a mix of a beach and urban engagement session!! We started out at Balboa Park and then headed over to Ocean Beach. It turned out to be a cold day on the beach, but they were troopers and were even okay with getting wet. I loved getting to know them better and am excited for their wedding in October!!
Gina and Dustin had a garden style small intimate wedding at the Boojum Tree! They invited their family and closest friends only. Their small reception had appetizers by Babbo Italian Eatery and a cake cutting only. They took some time to really enjoy the company of their loved ones instead of doing a lot of events.
Gianna and Austin had an amazing urban downtown wedding at 12 West Main! Austin was very emotional when he saw Gianna for the first time walking down the aisle! Every time I see those photos, it brings tears to my eyes. At the end of the reception, we went across the street for some night photos. I love when my couples are into taking some night photos, they are some of my favorites!!
They had a fun and romantic wedding at the gorgeous Trilogy at Vistancia’s Kiva Club!! I loved that her mom walked her down the aisle to the Game of Thrones theme song! Lauren surprised Ethan with an awesome groom’s cake from Frosted Art!! Chad from All American DJ did an amazing job at the reception as usual!! I love that he gets people involved and on the dance floor most of the night!!
