Jordan and Frank wanted an outdoorsy engagement session that did not have a desert look to it. I told them about Boyce Thompson Arboretum and they fell in love with it. It reminded them more of where they are from instead of the desert they live in now. They were even up for the long drive to get there. We spent a couple of hours walking around getting to know each other, taking some pictures and laughed almost the entire time! I can’t wait for your wedding in November!!

They wanted to have a beach engagement session, so I suggested windansea beach and they loved it!! Since they met at UCSD, we started there and headed over to the beach after. It was high tide, so there was not any beach available, but the water hitting the rocks was pretty awesome!!

Handling Systems had their holiday party at Penske Race Museum. We took pictures of everyone with a race car when they first arrived and candids for the rest of the event. I loved the venue and the race cars were really cool to see up close.

Kristen and Andrea wanted an urban engagement session with an option for water and trees. So Scottsdale Civic Center was the perfect place! I love the artwork there and the water fountains make some great backdrops as well! I had a great time getting to know Kristen and Andrea and wish them all the best for their wedding!

They took advantage of my fall mini sessions at Saguaro Ranch Park in Glendale. I’m so glad they did so I could get the chance to meet their adorable young twins!! It’s too bad we didn’t have someone video taping this session. We were all making crazy sounds to get the babies’ attention and then the dog’s attention as well!! It was quite hilarious!

I photographed their wedding a few years ago. So when they asked me to take family and maternity portraits for them, I was extremely excited to meet their son and see them again! The second part of this session is actually where we photographed their engagement session. She loved the spot so much and thought it would be perfect for maternity photos. I totally agree! The wind was a little crazy that day, but it was perfect for the dress she picked out!

Katie and Scott had a beautiful shabby chic wedding at The Secret Garden in Phoenix, Arizona. It was very important for them to include their son in the wedding. He walked down the aisle with Katie and they also had a special dance at the reception together. The vintage decorations blended in great at their venue, I loved the little touches! Matthew from Starz Entertainment did an awesome job keeping the party going!  They had a lot of fun with their cake cutting pictures!

Ken and Maritza had a beautiful intimate backyard wedding at their friend’s house in Glendale. Mrs. Hancock did another amazing job planning this gorgeous wedding! The gorgeous flowers were provided by Designs By Zima! Elizabeth from Frosted Art provided the beautiful and tasty cake! She even had a gluten free option for some, it was great! DJ Dan Bare did a great job keeping the reception flowing and people were on the dance floor almost all night. What an awesome night!
