They have two beautiful Huskies and brought them along for a few photos to begin with. Miranda’s parents came along to watch the dogs after we took their photos, that way we could wonder off and not have to worry about them. They are getting married at Trilogy at Vistancia’s Kiva Club and they love it so much they wanted to do their engagement photos there as well. So instead of going to the places closer to the ceremony, we decided to take their photos at spots that are harder to get to on the wedding day. I had a great time getting to know them and can’t wait for their wedding in November next year!

Kim and Marlen had a fun country themed wedding at Encanterra Country Club in San Tan Valley! They had an awesome firework show right after dinner. Encanterra is a gorgeous venue with fabulous views of the Superstition Mountains. Julie Koeth did an amazing job on their and makeup! We got to work alongside Gabe from Superstition Productions.  He was easy to work with and did a great job! Flowers by Jodi did another amazing job with the florals, they are great to work with and extremely talented!  Got You Covered did a great job keeping the party going all night!

They got married on Halloween and had the first part of the day somewhat normal, then changed into costumes for the reception! What a fun way for your guests to celebrate on Halloween! I loved looking at all of the costumes at the reception, so much fun and different! The reception was also decorated with a Halloween/Fall theme and went well with the red color of the wedding.

Venue: The Secret Garden
Flowers: Paradise Valley Florist
DJ: Infinity Entertainment

Kim was a national roper and still teaches people how to rope, so they wanted to do some photos with their horses. We started out with a few photos on their patio and with their dogs, then we moved to the pasture and took some pics with their horses and with the Superstition Mountains in the background. I’m looking forward to their wedding at Encanterra Country Club!

They wanted a bohemian beach wedding where they walk down the aisle barefoot.  People enjoyed being barefoot so much that a lot of them stayed that way through the entire reception!  This was a fun group!  They loved to dance!  And the guys did a photo replicating a Darth Vader move.  🙂  God Save The Cuisine was an amazing food truck and they did a great job at getting the food cooked quickly.  Mission Beach Women’s Club is a great venue for smaller weddings, close to the bay and an easy walk to the beach.  Rachael from Just Taste It Catering did a fabulous job on all of the amazing little desserts.  Scott from San Diego’s Favorite DJ kept the dance flooring rockin all night.

10 years ago, they got married on Cathedral Rock.  They decided for their 10 year anniversary they would like to take family portraits at the exact same spot.  I had a great time hiking up to the flat spot and just taking in the views when we were done.  Check out the gorgeous views at their Sedona family portraits.
