Gage’s mom thought it would be fun having a photo booth at their wedding. So she decided to surprise them with it! Jessica and Gage wanted a very simple photo strip with their funbooth photos. They had their Phoenix open air photo booth outside on the patio at Verrado Golf Club.
I met Jessica and Gage over 2 years ago. Gage was a marine and they didn’t want to get married until they knew that he couldn’t be deployed anymore. I loved getting to know this wonderfully nice couple over the past couple of years! The Wildflower AZ did an amazing job with the flowers and the bride’s headpiece, they were gorgeous!! Shortly after the reception started, I looked outside and saw one of the most beautiful sunsets ever! I quickly asked if they wanted to go outside and I’m glad they did. The sky was on fire!! Chad from All American DJ always does a great job and keeps the dance floor hopping all night! Have a look at their Verrado wedding photography below.
They got married on a hot September day and were originally going to have the ceremony outside, but figured it would be best for everyone if they had it inside. We did take a short walk outside to get a few photos of them and their wedding party. I am loving the suspenders on the guys and these guys had a lot of fun with them! Carmen and Stuart wanted an artistic engagement session with a fashion and edgy flair. So they chose the Phoenix Art Museum. We had an awesome time walking around the museum capturing their love for each other. She had ordered a dress specifically for their engagement session, but when it came in it didn’t look like the picture. Thankfully she was able to find this new dress and I think it worked even better than the other dress would have! We are excited for your wedding in February!
This is a DIY Fairbanks Ranch Country Club Wedding. They were originally going to have their reception in their backyard, but the guest count climbed too high for that. Jonathan works for Fairbanks Ranch Country Club, so what better place to have their reception. They already had their ceremony booked at Encinitas Moonlight Beach Overlook, so they went ahead and kept it there. Since they were planning on having their reception in their backyard, they had already planned on doing a lot of stuff themselves. They kept to that plan and had their families put together their flowers and reception area. The cupcakes were made by Little Cakes Kitchen. Their DJ and photo booth were provided by AAV Entertainment.
Check out Megan and Joel’s Rustic San Marcos Wedding Photography at the gorgeous Lazy V Ranch in San Marcos, CA. Joel and his father are both pastors, so they were able to have his father marry them! Having Joel’s dad marry them made it an extra special ceremony. This was pretty much a DIY wedding, they had friends and family help them with most of the wedding. I love the suspenders and bow ties on the guys!
Curtis Whipple and Drax teamed up to put on an 80’s themed event for NACE Experience at Scottsdale Fairmont Princess. What an awesome night!
Since they got married in the summer, we split up their coverage time. We met first thing in the morning to get some of their photos done when it was kind of cool outside, then came back for their ceremony. They had a small, intimate wedding at Arrowhead Country Club with only family in attendance. We got lucky with a gorgeous sunset!
I had a great time photographing these cocktails made by Southern Wine & Spirits for a WedAZ article in their summer issue. The hardest part of the shoot was not trying all of the yummy recipes. 🙂

Devyn and Kyle are a wonderfully fun couple! Devyn decided to do a bridesmaid first look and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Kyle has played baseball since high school and I love how they used one of his old jerseys for their guestbook/guest sign in.
