Tea Ceremony

This time-honored ceremony is done in some Asian ceremonies, typically after the vows to show respect for the couple’s families. In some ceremonies, it honors the parents, but other special family members may also be included. Each member takes a sip in order of seniority, and then they hand the couple a ceremonial Lai See (lucky red envelope), which contains family jewelry or money to bless the couple.
